Send Letters to Ministry of Health

The alarming rate of overdose, both fatal and non-fatal, in British Columbia is a Public Health Emergency and requires immediate and appropriate response. We don't feel that the current public health emergency protocols and task force to address overdose deaths are meeting either of these criteria.

A response to a crisis should not anticipate 600-800 more deaths when we have tools at hand, such as supervised consumption services, that we know can save lives. We call on the Provincial government of British Columbia to immediately amend their response to this public health emergency to include the proper funding and implementation of robustly supported supervised consumption services.
